About

The Boston College Musical Theatre Wing is an organization that strives to foster appreciation and dedication for musical theatre. The group aims to realize this by giving Boston College students a wealth of opportunities for musical theatre performance, in the form of cabarets and shortened compilations of musical theatre pieces. The Musical Theatre Wing also plans to bring its members’ love of musical theatre to the greater community, performing at various venues in the form of service outreach. The final goal of the group is to be a means of musical theatre education for the BC community, in the form of educational workshops, panels, and theatre outings.

Opportunities are available for performance in acting, song, and dance, as well as in direction, choreography, stage managing, and other backstage roles. Auditions for all events are open to everyone in the BC community, no matter what level of theatrical experience or amount of involvement in BC's theatre department. All are welcome and highly encouraged to participate! Executive Board positions are also open to all members of the BC community (applications will occur at the end of the school year for the following year's board).
